I think it is impossible. At least not without some serious collateral damage. The problem lies in the idea to send “all” pedophiles to an island.
First you would have to determine who is a pedophile and who is not. That could prove to be tricky. However the last decade some promising ways of identifying a pedophile have emerged. Brain scans, implicit association tests, measuring penis enlarging tests and psychological reviews all claim with a certain degree of accuracy to do the job. But some pedophiles would still go undetected. And of course you would also have false positives. People of whom the tests show that they are a pedophile but in fact are not.
That’s like nazi Germany checking a physical appearance of someone that’s a Jew by measuring certain body areas like the nose shape and eye color to determine that’s a Jew and then decree that Jews are mandated by law to wear star of David and later the campaign of extermination, but they want it done spontaneously and prevent anyone from stopping to help, and also Rwanda too.
Pedophiles? The schools, youth clubs, daycare centers and etc. are full of them. There are likely one in every home that a child resides.
I think that is a great idea. And to keep them from acting up, send all abandoned children from orphanages to keep them company.
Sorry, there is no font for sarcasm and in 2017 Murica I know all sarcasm must be followed with pointing out that is is sarcasm, which of course desarcs the asm.
Replace “Pedophiles” with “blacks”,”indians”,”the japanese”, etc… The US has shown a precedence of legalizing (or carrying out) certain actions for the ‘good of the country’.
Is this how Australia started….?
